New seaside toilets have been opened to the public partly thanks to council funding. The local council has given its backing to the new facilities at Weymouth and has allocated £100,000 for the improvements. A statement from the borough council said: “Providing good-quality, clean and accessible public toilets in key locations within the town is a must.” Additional funding for the public toilet improvement programme has also been made available through the council’s Seafront Regeneration Budget.
Carpark Barriers & Turnstiles can supply turnstiles that are compatible with providing access to toilet facilities, whether in public, private or corporate settings. When absolute entrance or exit security is required, full height turnstiles are the perfect solution. Ideal in unmanned locations, they provide maximum security together with a strong visual deterrent. They cope with severe operating conditions and are galvanised with a polyester powder coat finish for extra durability. Made to strict security standards, they suit both interior and exterior installations and need no routine maintenance.
