Criminals broke into a scrap yard and stole more than eight tonnes of metal. The gang of thieves also took 40 catalytic converters from the yard in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Investigating officer, Detective Constable Tade Toseland, said of the offenders: “I would urge anyone with any information about this theft to call police. A large amount of metal was stolen and is likely a van would have been used to take it away.”
