The Tesco Express on Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds, will soon have a security bollard installed in front of it, following an incident last month, when a car drove right through the wall.
According to a report in the local media on this topic, the car involved in the incident was driven by none other than Bury St Edmunds’ new mayor Terry Buckle.
A Tesco spokesman confirmed the decision had been made to install ‘at least one bollard in front of the store’, in order to prevent any other future unfortunate events of this type.
