A thief was caught following a car chase across Bradford when his car got stuck between bollards installed for safety reasons.
As a news report in the local media has revealed, the chase began after 20-year-old Connor Rayner, of Fagley Court, Fagley, Bradford, was spotted smashing a vehicle window in a supermarket car park.
As he fled from the police, he hit another vehicle along Dudley Hill Road, Bowling Bank Lane and Sticker Lane. He was ultimately arrested when his car was too wide too pass through bollards and charged with dangerous driving and attempted theft.
The young thief was sentenced to 10 months, suspended for two years, with 150 hours of unpaid work and was also ordered to pay £700 compensation, £300 costs and banned for two years.
