After Policing and Community Safety Partnership members met with local residents and police, a decision was made regarding the restriction of access to the area.
“It was quite a constructive meeting,” said Alderman Paul Girvan. “There is no doubt that this access is creating problems for people living in the immediate area. Hopefully the bollards will improve things, but there are still issues regarding anti-social behaviour and the right of way that will have to be looked at.”
