The Peterborough Sports venue from Lincoln Road has just undergone an impressive £300,000 revamp that saw the grounds receive a series of improvements, including here £50,000 floodlights, a news report in the local media has revealed.

Sports chairman Tommy Cooper said: “The aim is to have a ground that is suitable for Step 4 football, let alone Step 5, within the next 18 months. There is not a great deal left to do to bring the facilities up to the standard required. We are rightly proud of what we have achieved so far but improving the entrance road, which is in such poor condition, is essential.”
