A new play area will be built in Lostwithiel’s Coulson Park following a local group’s successful fund-raising campaign, which managed to rack in over £20,000.
Local group Lost In Play, has joined forces with the town council to transform the present play area at Coulson Park into a state-of-the art facility for youngsters. The total budget allocated to this project is £40,000, with the group raising 22,000 pounds, while the rest was supplied from the council’s treasury, a news report in the local media can reveal.
As part of the initiative, councillors are considering putting in metal fencing around the playground for enhanced protection and improved durability.
