An Aberdeen leisure centre is set to install a set of new security measures aimed at stopping fly-tippers and maintain a state of cleanliness across the premises, a news report in the local media could reveal.
Sport Aberdeen has revealed plans to create height restriction barriers and bollards to stop vehicles from gaining access to parts of the city’s Beach Leisure Centre.
Nigel Spencer, outdoor services manager at Sport Aberdeen, commented: “We have put in soil banks around the back of the site but we need more to deter groups from making a mess at the leisure centre.
“We are still waiting for full site costs.
